As you may have gathered from the URL, my name is Jon Ingram. I was never very good at inventing clever nicknames!
Work
I am currently a secondary maths teacher (mainly teaching from 14-19) in an independent school in Warwickshire, England. This means I am lucky enough not to have to worry about SATs, among other things.
I taught A-level maths for several years, through the Further Mathematics Network based at Warwick University, and then decided to try my hand at the lower age ranges. I still enjoy teaching A-level, and am very lucky to be working at a school which has a large A-level cohort each year.
The Site
This site will serve as a way for me to collect and organise my various resources and interests in a number of areas, particularly recreational mathematics, teaching and education. You can see information about areas I plan to write about over in the future posts section.
