Future Posts

There are a number of topics areas I want to write about. If nothing in those areas has appeared recently, I’m either waiting to have more time, or until I think I have something sufficiently interesting to write!

Future posts will, I hope, include:

  • Resources I have produced for lessons, together with thoughts on uses.
  • Pictures of display work, together with lesson ideas using them.
  • Detailed information on some other websites, above and beyond the ‘lists of links’ which many people seem to do.
  • In particular, discussions of some of the NRICH puzzles.
  • Some recreational mathematics, perhaps developing from work in the classroom (and including mathematical origami).
  • Reviews of some interesting books.
  • Some programming, particularly if it is related to topics I am covering — see for example the wonderful Project Euler
  • Reviews (that word again) of interesting content in old Mathematical Gazettes and Maths in Schools (many of which I picked up for free at the Easter conference).
  • Some dynamic geometry, particularly using Geogebra.
  • Any thoughts on another hobby of mine, Project Gutenberg, and in particular Distributed Proofreaders.
